Meet the 2018 National Leadership Council

We are very proud to announce the 2018 National Leadership Council (NLC). The NLC is comprised of a select group of student SSA leaders and recent graduates, selected by the Campus Organizing staff, to serve in an advisory and ambassador role within the national organization. Students are selected for their demonstrated commitment to SSA and their own leadership development as well as their success in growing their chapter. Members of the NLC may be asked to assist the national staff in a variety of ways, including the following:

  • Act as a example of organizational leadership and behavior for other Secular Student Alliance leaders;
  • Assist the Campus Organizing team with assorted tasks, including, but not limited to assisting with the annual SSA conference, bi-annual chapter registrations, and providing input and feedback about specific ideas, campaigns, and resources;
  • Encourage best practices in leading an SSA chapter;
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the Secular Student Alliance as an organization and be willing to act as an official SSA representative if requested to do so by the SSA staff.

Visit the NLC page and read the bios of these remarkable student leaders!
