Secular Student Alliance National Conference

After careful consideration, the Secular Student Alliance is transitioning our summer conference, originally scheduled for July 25-27, 2020, in Washington DC, to a multi-day virtual conference.

We have been monitoring the various “stay at home” orders across the United States, the closure of high schools and colleges until this fall, and the recent announcements from states like California and New York about plans to begin to ease social distancing restrictions and reopen businesses.  While society will begin to open, the public health officials are helping us understand that we must continue to practice social distancing to prevent a severe relapse of the coronavirus. Large conferences and public events will continue to be restricted, especially this summer.

We are excited to host a multi-day virtual conference with live-streaming and on-demand video for our students and the larger secular community. We are finalizing the details and will be sharing more soon about our virtual conference this July.
