Well, that was fun (2007 Conference)
The New Humanism was lots of fun. We want to give a very special thanks to the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard for having the vision and capacity to make this conference a reality. We were (and are) proud to be your partner. Of course, we extend our thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a success: speakers, volunteers, other partner organizations and participants.
With over 530 (>280 of them being students) registered, this was our largest conference so far. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be getting a lot more audio, pictures and commentary of the event on our website.
The 40 or so of you who were around for the spontaneous group photo were told we'd stick it online. Here it is.
There's already been some blog coverage of the conference, here's what we've heard of so far:
- Spazeboy (includes some audio and video)
- The Chaplaincy itself
- The Uncredible Hallq
- Clark Adams of the Internet Infidels (Discussion board post, not blog)
- Rational Response Squad (Discussion board post, not blog)
- Humanist Network News

Btw, with 2007 under our belts, we're ready to start thinking about 2008. We'd love to hear your ideas.
