How To Hold A Film Screening

Doing movie screenings for your group is a fun social activity, but if you don’t plan ahead, this simple activity can potentially land you and your group in legal trouble. That is because, with little exception, screening a television show or movie for your club classifies as a “public performance,” regardless of whether money was charged for admission.

For more information on public movie performances and how your group can run them legally, check out the downloadable resource linked below. If you have never run a film screening before, we hope that it will provide some useful tips, tricks, and advice to help you plan the activity and then run it successfully with your group.
