Here is a look towards Raiders for Rationalism at Middle Tennessee State University.

The Raiders for Rationalism are off to a strong start this year. These secular students kicked off the fall with with a lecture by Dr. Will Legget addressing altered states of being. In this lecture, Dr. Legget addressed possession and voodoo, as well as deconstructed American ethnocentric ideas on "pseudo-science." His aim was to articulate such paranormal phenomena in a culturally-relative way.
Soon after, the Raiders hosted a viewing of the film The Exorcism of Emily Rose. This film was one of many chosen to further allude to a sardonic look at the paranormal, to be followed by a conversation of the lack thereof.
On November 14 the group will attended a speech delivered by Rev. Barry Lynn, author of Piety & Politics: The Right-Wing Assault on Religious Freedom.
In the pipeline for the Raiders is an HIV/AIDS demonstration.
Great job so far Raiders! Keep up the great work.
