Welcome the New Southern California Campus Organizer!

Ryan LangleyRyan Langley is the new Secular Student Alliance Southern California Campus Organizer! The SoCal position was made available by a generous grant from Atheists United in California. Ryan will be a part-time Campus Organizer working with schools in Southern California, one of our most affiliate-dense regions. In this position, Ryan will be visiting campuses, attending group meetings, introducing other California schools to the SSA, and providing our burgeoning and existing groups with activist training and group running guidance.

Ryan comes to the SSA from Chapman University, where he is currently majoring in Peace Studies and minoring in Philosophy. He comes equipped with fundraising experience and is well-versed in student activism. Ryan was a member of SPEAK (Students for Peaceful Empowerment Action and Knowledge), a group that holds lectures, debates, and events to raise awareness of progressive causes. Ryan's interests include philosophy, especially the works of Richard Rorty and Karl Marx, as well as music and political theory. Please join me in welcoming Ryan, the new Secular Student Alliance Southern California Campus Organizer as he works to represent the global ideas of humanism to the inhabitants of Southern California.
